The Town of Yarmouth has received top honours in the Communities in Bloom program. For the second year in a row, the town has been awarded a five bloom rating, and this year was a winner in its category. Yarmouth has been invited to compete at the national level. While the whole community deserves credit, special thanks is owed to the CIB Committee and the town staff. Congratulations!

There really will be something for everyone!!!  For the novice gardener there will be lots of great ideas and opportunities to have your questions answered.  There will wonderful new products and plant varieties to inspire your own garden projects.  For the expert gardener, there will be the most up-to-date information locally available on your favourite species as well as the chance to network with other gardeners.  Your children will enjoy the interactive childrens’ program which will run all day Saturday.  There will be great food at the Garden Cafe and interesting products for purchase at the Garden Boutique.  What a great way to kick off another season of gardening! 

Yarmouth is the perfect place for an annual Garden and Landscaping show! Since it is at the southern end of Nova Scotia, we can do things here that other places in Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada can only dream about.  Where better to feature all there is good about Gardening and Landscaping! With a committed and energetic committee, this show promises to motivate and inspire both experienced and novice gardeners. The program is both exciting and informative.   You won’t want to miss Blooms By the Sea.
