Yarmouth in the News
The Town of Yarmouth has received top honours in the Communities in Bloom program. For the second year in a row, the town has been awarded a five bloom rating, and this year was a winner in its category. Yarmouth has been invited to compete at the national level. While the whole community deserves credit, special thanks is owed to the CIB Committee and the town staff. Congratulations!
Congratulations to everyone, I know how hard you have all worked to produce these successful results. I love the new trees in front of the shopping centre, thank you for those. I also had fun this summer, as our renovations included fixing our exterior planters and I then decided to spend a “casual” Friday up to my armpits in plants and dirt.. it was fun to see shoppers reactions when they recognised the “mall manager” doing landscaping! Can’t wait for the Blooms By The Sea show to get ideas for my flower bed that I am going to install under our Starrs Road sign.
