Our second show promises to be as good or better than the first. We received a lot of comments last year that have been helpful in planning this year’s show. With two featured and very dynamic guest speakers, visitors will get good value for their money. What is most amazing about this show is that it is produced by a group of volunteers who dedicate hundreds of hours to share their love of gardening and provide businesses who cannot normally participate in an event of this magnitude an opportunity to connect with customers. You can’t go wrong at the Blooms by the Sea show. Looks like it has something for everyone. Hope I get to take it all in. Already looking forward to next year.

New Tools

I see one of the workshops is on new tools by Lee Valley. I can’t wait to see what is new and exciting to garden with this year. Anything to make it easier.

What a great place to volunteer. You get to meet thousands of gardeners and get lots of ideas for your own garden. I know I am looking forward to the weekend.

Saulnier’s Home Hardware “Gardener’s Challenge”

Celebrity Birdhouse Silent Auction

We now have over 20 birdhouses being decorated by artists and other celebrities for our silent auction. Profits from this event wil be donated for Cancer Care. The birdhouses will be on display throughout the weekend at “Blooms by the Sea”.

Thanks to Coral Kincaid of LeHavre, there is now a day lily named “Blooms by the Sea” in honour of the show. The yellow day lily will be unveiled during the show, which runs from May 1st-3rd at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth. The Yarmouth Garden Show Association is extremely grateful to Coral for this special recognition.
